Press Release: Kooler Ice Introduces the Kooler Ice “Mini” Vending Machine.

Montezuma, Georgia - Kooler Ice Inc., a leader in the ice vending machine business, introduces
the Kooler Ice “Mini” Vending Machine (Model KI 510). The Kooler Ice “Mini”, is the smallest, most productive automatic ice manufacturing and bagging machine on the market today. Kooler Ice Inc. President Kerry Seymour stated, “After launching the original Kooler Ice vending machine in the summer of 2007, we quickly realized that many convenience stores did not require the production capacity of the original machine, and that a smaller physical design would make our machine accessible to even more businesses”.

“We took the proven design of the KI 810 and reduced the size of the machine by more than half”, said Mr Seymour. “The machine is now about the size of a Coke vending machine, and with 240V single phase electric hookup, the unit can literally be plugged into the wall at the front of the convenience store”. The “Mini” uses the same industry leading Scotsman or Manitowoc ice makers, and provides customers with a 5kg bag of crystal clear cubed ice. The “Mini” is capable of producing and vending over 100 x 5kg bags of ice daily. In order to lower the unit price and lower the monthly utility cost of the unit, Kooler Ice engineers successfully eliminated the entire refrigeration unit by double insulating the machine. The ice melts very slowly, and in a lower production environment, the ice maker is more than capable of keeping up with slow melt that occurs. By eliminating the refrigeration unit, utility costs are minimal, making the “Mini” the most cost efficient ice vending machine on the market without sacrificing production!

In addition to removing the refrigeration unit, Kooler Ice has reduced the number of parts required to make the machine operate. “Reliability is critical in this business,” states Jeff Dyson, Vice-President of Sales, “our customers cannot have downtime. If the machine does not work, their revenue stops! We have been diligent in making sure the machine is easy to operate, easy to maintain and very reliable. Kooler Ice introduces new Ice Vending Machine

Montezuma, Georgia - Kooler Ice Inc. introduced its first packaged ice vending machine at the Georgia National Fair October 4, 2007. “After completing an extensive research and development program, the Kooler Ice Vending Machine is now ready for the market”, state representatives of Kooler Ice. 'We have been studying the package ice industry for quite some time', states company president Kerry Seymour, 'and we believe our new ice vending machine will provide owners with a way to increase their package ice profits by providing them a low cost way to produce, store and automatically bag ice on site, 24 hours a day.

The compact size of the Kooler Ice Vending Machine is key; the unit is 1300mm wide, 2600mm long and 2450mm high. The machine's compact size allows for easy placement at convenience stores, grocery stores, service stations, boat ramps, etc.

While the Patent Pending Kooler Ice Vending Machine is small, it is very productive. The unit comes equipped with your choice of a Scotsman or Manitowoc ice maker and has the capability of producing over 150 x 7kg bags of fresh ice per day. For higher volume production requirements, a second ice maker can be added to increase potential production to over 300 – 7kg bags of fresh ice per day.
